Aligarh Schools Ordered to Remain Closed for Students up to Class 8 due to Adverse Weather

The authorities have ordered the closure of all state board, CBSE, and ICSE schools in Aligarh today, ranging from preschool to class 8

Due to adverse weather, schools in Aligarh have been advised to remain closed today, November 28. According to Times Now, the announcement of the school break was made by the Education Officer-in-Charge in accordance with District Magistrate Indra Vikram Singh’s directions. For updates on the reopening of schools, parents and students are encouraged to stay in contact with the schools. Bad weather today has forced the closure of all state board, CBSE, and ICSE institutions, ranging from preschool to class 8.

Previously, a school holiday was declared for all of Uttar Pradesh on September 12. Following the DM’s directives, all schools from pre-primary to class 12 in the districts of Barabanki and Lakhimpur Kheri were asked to announce a holiday.

Schools in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh were closed on November 27 in observance of Guru Nanak Jayanti. Schools, banks, and government offices were all closed on Monday in observance of Guru Nanak Jayanti 2023. Other holidays this month included the observance of Guru Teg Bahadur Shaheedi Diwas on November 24. According to the announcement obtained from the District Magistrate Office, schools were closed for pupils from Pre-Nursery to Class 12th on Friday, November 24, to mark Guru Teg Bahadur Shaheedi Diwas.
