ICSE Results 2024: Meet Ayush Suman, Bokaro Topper With 98% Marks In Class 10

Ayush Suman scored 95 marks in English, 99 in Hindi, 98 in Mathematics, 98 in Science and 99 in Social Science.

On May 6, the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) announced the Indian School Certificate (ISC) and Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) examination results. The overall pass percentage for Class 12 this year is 98.19 per cent and the overall pass percentage of Class 10 is 99.47 per cent. Amid this, a promising student of Sait Xavier School, Sector 1, Bokaro, has topped his district by scoring 98 per cent in Class 10.

Ayush Suman is a resident of Bokaro who topped his district and scored 98 per cent. In an interview with Local18, he revealed that he is quite happy with his results. He aims to take science in 11th and then pursue engineering at the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). He shared that he used to study for 7 hours daily and during the last 2 months of the exam, he studied for more than 10 hours every day. Out of 100, he scored 95 marks in English, 99 in Hindi, 98 in Mathematics, 98 in Science and 99 in Social Science.

While advising other students, Ayush Suman highlighted the need to study the school books thoroughly. After that, he suggested taking some help from other guidebooks. He said that doing so would create no confusion in students and could score good marks on the exams. For his success, he credits his parents and school teachers, who helped him and were a huge support system while preparing for the board exams.

Ayush Suman’s father, Srinath Suman is an ophthalmologist, while his mother Sambhavna Suman is a homemaker. His father expressed happiness and pride for his son’s success. He said that he is quite happy and wishes that Ayush would continue to work hard in the future. Similarly, the Principal of St Xavier’s School, Arun Minj extended his best wishes to his student.

As per reports, to avoid unhealthy competition, the board decided to not announce any toppers for both Class 10 and 12. Meanwhile, Class 10 and 12 students can visit the CISCE’s official website, i.e., cisce.org, to check their results or avail of the SMS facility and on DigiLocker.
