SSC has begun the registration process for the MTS and Havaldar 2025 examination on its official website, ssc.gov.in, with the application deadline set for July 24.

SSC MTS, Havaldar Registration 2025: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official notification and started the application process for the Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff (MTS) and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination 2025. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and are interested in these posts can apply online at ssc.gov.in. A direct application link is also provided below.
As of now, the commission has announced 1,075 vacancies for the Havaldar post. Vacancies for the MTS post are still being gathered and will be announced later.
The last date to apply for this recruitment exam is July 24, 2025, while the last date to pay the application fee is July 25, 2025.
Candidates who submit their applications on or before the deadline will be allowed to edit or correct their application forms between July 29 and July 31, 2025.
The Computer-Based Exam (CBE) for SSC MTS and Havaldar will be conducted between September 20 and October 24, 2025.
Eligibility Criteria:
– For MTS posts, candidates must be between 18 and 25 years old as of August 1, 2025.
– For Havaldar and some MTS posts in certain departments, the age limit is 18 to 27 years.
– Age relaxation will be given to candidates from reserved categories as per government rules.
– Candidates must have passed Class 10 or equivalent on or before August 1, 2025 to be eligible.

Application Fee:
– The application fee is Rs 100.
– Women candidates, along with those belonging to SC, ST, PwBD, and Ex-servicemen categories eligible for reservation, do not need to pay the fee.
Exam Pattern:
– For the MTS post, the selection process will include only a Computer-Based Examination (CBE).
– For the Havaldar post, candidates will go through a CBE, followed by a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST).
The CBE will be held in Hindi, English, and 13 regional languages, including:
Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri (Meitei), Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
