The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has released the results for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) 2025 for admissions to Class 6 and Class 9 today, March 25, 2025. Students can check their scores on the official website at navodaya.gov.in. The entrance exam for class 6 was held on January 18 and for class 9, it was conducted on February 8.

Step 1: Visit the official website – navodaya.gov.in.
Step 2: Click on the JNVST Result 2025 link.
Step 3: Enter the login credentials including roll number, and date of birth. Hit submit
Step 4: The results will appear on the screen
Step 5: Download and take a print out for future reference.

– Residence Certificate

The JNVST Phase 2 exam is scheduled for April 12, 2025, and will be held at various centres across the country. JNVST is held in pen and paper mode in a single shift from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. Divyang or differently-abled candidates will get an extra 40 minutes to write the exam.
The exam consisted of three sections: mental ability, arithmetic, and language. It features a total of 80 objective-type questions, with a total score of 100 marks. Mental ability constitutes the largest section with 40 questions, while arithmetic and language each have 20 questions. The sections carry a weightage of 50 per cent, 25 per cent, and 25 per cent respectively. Students will get 1.25 marks for each correct answer. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
Currently, there are 653 Navodaya Vidyalayas in 27 states and 8 union territories. A maximum of 80 students will be admitted in class 6 in each Navodaya Vidyalaya. All of them will be selected through the entrance examination. The result of the selection test is expected to be announced by March 2025 for summer-bound JNVs and in May 2025 for winter-bound JNVs.
